Berry Dairy Days Smoke & Grill Competition now fully sanctioned by the Pacific NW BBQ Associations! competitors as they smoke & grill it out to see WHO is the BEST OF THE BEST.

Public Sampling meats provided by Burlington Chamber of Commerce.
The Berry Dairy Days Smoke & Grill Competition is located in Historic Downtown Burlington near the Visitor Information Center at 520 E Fairhaven Ave.
The Smoke & Grill will be open to the public Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Yes! The Burlington Chamber of Commerce will supply meat to BBQ Competitors for public sampling. See PNWBA application.

Yes. At least one member of your team is required to have a food handlers permit.

Cooking for Public Sampling can begin on Friday, June 20, 2025, Load In Day. Load In Day is Friday, June 20, 2025. See registration application.

Campers at the barbeque site must be pre-approved. Please submit your campers make, model, and size to info@burlington-chamber.com for approval.
There will be parking in the proximity of the barbeque stations and campers are allowed. Booths cannot be left unsupervised at any time -
Yes, and it is included in your entry fee cost.

Yes. In order to remain a qualifier, a minimum number of entries for all 4 meat categories must be turned in on time. So if they are at the exact minimum, your lack of turn-in for a category would cause the event to no longer be a qualifier that would affect all teams who competed in the event.

The entry cost is $195 per team paid directly to the PNWBA.

BBQ Teams are responsible for reading the PNWBA team rules thoroughly.
Friday, June 20, 2025: LOAD-IN DAY
-Load-in begins on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
-Team site inspection between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
-Quiet time is from 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM nightly.
Saturday, June 21, 2025 -PUBLIC SAMPLING DAY
-Public Sampling begins at 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.-Quiet time is from 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM on Sunday, June 16th.
Sunday, June 22, 2025- Competition Day- No Public SamplingCOMPETITION Turn-In Schedule
Sunday, June 22, 2025. Turn-in window is a 10 minute window. The following timeline will be followed:Pork - 10:55:00 am to 11:04:59 am
Brisket - 10155:00 am to 12:04:59 pm
Chicken - 12:55:00 pm to 1:04:59 pm
Pork Ribs - 1:55:00 pm to 2:04:59 pm
Awards will be announced at 5:00 PM (or earlier when possible)
